Dual six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) facilityisdesigned to simulate 6-DOF motions of ships, vehicles and offshore platforms under the combined action of wind, waves and currents.It can be carried out researches on heave compensation function of crane ship and the control technology of interaction operating among boats.

It composed by two 6-DOF platforms. The size of bigger platform is 3.5*3.5 square meters, and the smaller platform is 2.5*2.5 square meters. The load capacity for bigger one is 20 tons of static load and 10 tons of dynamic load, and the smaller one is 5 tons for both static and dynamic load. The maximum operation frequency is 3.5 Hz for two platforms. They can work individually, and also work together as a whole system.
