On Dec.11th, Prof. WANG Xiaoping, deputy dean of Ocean College, met with Prof. Toru Sato,from the University of Tokyo. Prof. HE Zhiguo, director of department of ocean engineering, and Associate Prof. ZHANG Dahai attended the meeting. 

In the meeting, Prof. WANG warmly welcomed Prof. Sato and introduced the overview of college and its internationalizationdevelopment. She expressed her hope for further cooperation in bothacademic and research aspects. Prof. Sato showed his genuine appreciation of the development of Ocean College, and gave an introduction of the University of Tokyo and his department. 

During the discussion, both sides explored thecooperation from student exchange program to joint research program. Prof. Toru Sato expressed his strong willingness of collaborations and communications between two sides, and expressed deep appreciation for this warm reception and expected to have a further communication in the near future.
